Here we go!!!

5 Units North Texas +7 (SU WINNER 84-81) +5.00 UNITS

North Texas has a strong front line, but the fact is they've been awful on the road (3-10 SU) giving up 78.8 ppg. Although, they are 7-3 ATS on the road. North Texas (12-13) has lost four of six, but they've been competitive going 6-1 ATS the last seven games. North Texas has a strong front line anchored by 6’-9”, 250-lb senior Shawnson Johnson (12 ppg, 8 rpg, 60% FGs) and 6’-8” senior Michael DeGrate (9 ppg, 5 rpg), and guard Leonard Hopkins (12 ppg). The New Orleans Privateers (14-12) have strong guard play behind shooting guard Kyle Buggs (11 ppg) and 6'-2" senior Johnell Smith (14 ppg, 38% FGs). New Orleans is 9-2 SU/4-5 ATS at home where they outscore teams by a 71-64 average. New Orleans is on a 4-1 SU/3-2 ATS run that included an impressive 68-54 smacking of Louisiana Lafayette, but the last game they lost a stunning 63-58 game at Florida International as a 6.5 road favorite. On Jan. 29, New Orleans won 77-76 at North Texas.

7 Units Arkansas State +11 (LOST 62-82) -7.56 UNITS

Interesting Sun Belt battle between two good teams. Louisiana Lafayette (15-8 SU, 12-6 ATS) has lost three of four games, while Arkansas State (15-9) has lost two of three. Despite strong records, they're not peaking at the right time of the year. Arkansas State has a lot of depth with a slew of talented scorers, anchored by JJ Montgomery and 6'-4" junior Dewarick Spencer. Spencer had 30 points in an 82-57 rout of Florida International, but they lost the last game at home to Middle Tennessee State by one point, 70-69. Arkansas State is 5-4 SU, 5-2 ATS on the road where they score and allow 66 ppg. La Lafayette (15-8) shoots 47% behind its big frontcourt of 6’-11”, 250-lb sophomore Chris Cameron, 6'-6" junior Brian Hamilton (11 ppg, 7 rpg) and 6’-5” senior Brad Boyd (12 ppg). Lafayette has been on an extended road trip, which explains their slump of late. Coming home will help, and Lafayette is 8-1 SU/3-2 ATS at home where they rip teams by an 85-67 average. On Feb. 20, Arkansas State won 84-72 at home and this should be another close shootout.

7 Units Denver U +3 (LOST 54-73) -7.00 UNITS

Denver has the frontcourt, and South Alabama lacks height but has the home court and good guard play. Denver is 5-7 SU/3-5 ATS on the road where it gets outscored by a 73-67 average. Denver (14-11 SU, 7-12 ATS) has guards 5'-11" junior Rodney Billups and 6'-1" guard Erik Benzel (15 ppg), and a strong frontcourt with 6'-9” 260-lb senior Brett Starkey (12 ppg, 8 boards pg) and 6’-8” senior Zeljko Zupic (7 rpg). But Denver is riding a 1-4 SU/0-5 ATS run. South Alabama is 7-5 SU/2-5 ATS at home and they just ended a 7-game losing streak with a 62-46 win over a bad Florida International team. South Alabama (10-15 SU, 8-10 ATS) lacks height and allows opponents to shoot 47%. South Alabama is led by 6'-6" senior Malerick Bedden (13 ppg, 5.5 rpg) and 6'-6" Richard Law. On January 29, South Alabama lost 78-59 at Denver. This is a tough game to call, as neither is playing well, but Denver has the stronger team and frontcourt.

7 Units Stanford -19 (WON 73-47) +7.00 Units

Oregon State (R: 1-8 SU, 7-2 ATS) is on a mission following a pair of wins last week. On Saturday, David Lucas and Chris Stephens scoring 22 points apiece when Oregon State ended a seven-game losing streak against 13th-ranked Arizona with a 90-84 Pac-10 Conference victory. David Lucas, the son of former NBA standout Maurice Lucas, topped 20 points for the sixth consecutive game. The 6-7 junior and former walk-on, made 10-of-14 shots, including a pair of dunks in the final five minutes. Stanford won their 23rd straight Saturday when the top-ranked Cardinal defeated UCLA 73-60 to remain undefeated with two weeks left in the regular season. Stanford improved to 14-0 in the Pac-10, and clinched its fourth conference title in six years and 11th overall. Rob Little led the Cardinal with 18 points, tying his career high. Tough spot for OSU, the mission ends here against a motivated, to go undefeated, Cardinal. When they met last month, Stanford won 62-48 in a slow-down game.

5 Units Cal Santa Bar. -3 (Push 98-95) +0.00 UNITS

The UC Santa Barbara Gauchos struggle to score on the road (61 ppg), where they are 4-6 SU/5-5 ATS. The defense is very good, allowing 64.8 ppg on the road. Santa Barbara (13-10 SU, 12-9 ATS) has good frontcourt depth with 6'-8" junior Casey Cook, and 6’-9” sophomore Cameron Goetsche. The backcourt has 6'-4" senior Nick Jones, but is hurting because 6'-4" Branduinn Fullove (10 ppg) is questionable with a knee injury. Fullerton (9-14) has a nice front line, anchored by 6'-10" senior C Pape Sow (17 ppg, 9 rpg) and 6'-7" F Anthony Bolton (11 ppg, 5 rpg). However, they don't play much defense (46% shooting allowed) and they've lost two in a row. In fact, Fullerton is 1-6 ATS the last 7 games. When they met on January 31, Santa Barbara flattened Fullerton at home, 77-44!!! Revenge??? In their hearts, sure, but on the court, Santa Barbara plays better 'D'.

5 Units Utah State -14 (WON 67-47) +5.00 UNITS

Utah State is battling Pacific for first place in the Big West -- they are both tied for first with 14-1 conference marks. So they will be primed to play hard here, and Long Beach State is the second worst team in the Big West. Utah State (22-2 SU, 13-8 ATS) has the best frontcourt in the Big West behind 6'-7" sophomore Nate Harris (11 ppg), 6’-8” junior Spencer Nelson (11 ppg, 7 rpg), while 6'-4" senior Cardell Butler chips in 13 ppg. Utah State is 7-2 SU/6-3 ATS on the road where they outscore teams by a 64-58 average -- that's some road defense!!! Long Beach (6-17) is 5-6 SU/5-3 ATS at home and lost 84-46 at Utah State last month. They will keep it more competitive here, but Utah State should still get a double digit win in a game with little scoring.

Good luck tonight!!!

I'm out the door right now and will be back later tonight. Game's a rated at: "5 Units" "7 Units" "10 Units" and "20 Units". To me a unit equals $100 and 20 units plays are very rare. Most play are low or 5 to 7 units. Gotta run, talk to you later!!!
